Bio climate
A distinctive feature of the microclimate in Ustronie Morskie is the presence of aerosols in the air, which have therapeutic effects, especially in the treatment of respiratory conditions. The most favorable conditions for inhalation occur on the beach in the morning and evening when the sea breeze is blowing. The iodine content in the air ranges from 0.75 to 2.53 micrograms/mm³ and is the highest in marine climate conditions on the European continent. Plant communities (coastal pine forests, beech parks) are also a very important bioclimatic factor.
